Assisted Living provides support for persons who require limited care while living on their own or with a caregiver.
At MCSI, we have several methods in which we provide assisted living services.
Our Respite Program
This program provides a break for the primary caregiver of disabled children. This service can be provided in the child’s home or out in the community.
Locations: Genesee and Lapeer Counties
Our Senior Respite Program
The Senior Respite program is designed to give the primary caregiver an opportunity to take a break from caring for their loved one. Our employees provide safety and companionship for the senior in their home in the absence of the primary caregiver.

Community Living Supports (CLS)
Community Living Supports (CLS) are used to increase or maintain personal self-efficiency, facilitating an individual’s achievement of his/her goals in the areas of community inclusion and participation, independence, and productivity. Services are provided in the individual’s home.
Some the skill areas addressed are:
- Meal preparation
- Household skills
- Medical monitoring
- Money management
- Community activities
Locations: Genesee, Lapeer, and Bay Counties
Medication Monitoring
This service provides medication delivery and set-up of an individual’s medications. The individual is monitored for successful self administration of their medications.

Senior Adult Day Care
The Senior Adult Day Care program is designed to give the primary caregiver an opportunity to take a break from caring for their loved one. Our employees provide safety, companionship and daily activities to our seniors in our facility.
